Who picked up Arjun?
An uncle nobody recognises, a signed slip from 2023, and a guard who isn’t sure.
Give us one route’s stops and students. Tomorrow morning, the attendant’s phone logs every boarding and drop — and if the bus runs late, that route’s families hear it before they think to call.
Tomorrow morning: every child on one route, accounted for.

SOUND FAMILIAR?
Attendance is on paper till noon. The bus attendant rings the office only when something’s wrong. The gate trusts a confident face. And families find out last — from each other, on the class WhatsApp group.
An uncle nobody recognises, a signed slip from 2023, and a guard who isn’t sure.
One route runs twenty minutes late. Eighty calls. The office knows as little as the parents.
Paper registers reach the office after lunch. Until then, nobody can say who isn’t in school.
HOW IT WORKS
A phone or a paper slip is enough. Software keeps the log; a person handles every exception.
Roll call by 9:15, on a phone or paper slip. Anyone unaccounted for is checked before first period.
The attendant’s phone logs each boarding and drop. A delay alerts only that route’s families.
Each pickup is checked against the adults that family authorised, with photos. Someone new needs a one-time code.
Boarded, dropped, delayed, picked up — families hear it in Kannada, Telugu or English, before they ask.
THREE WAYS TO START
Whichever you choose, you end up with the same thing: every handover logged, every family told. Switch any time.
For principals who want to watch it work before calling anyone.
For schools with five or more routes, a gate and a busy office.
For owners who want a control room without hiring one.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE FIRST
The moment it lands: Route 3 runs late, and its families hear it from you first.
MAKE IT YOURS
Draw routes on the map or upload your Excel, and name stops as families do — “Durgamma temple”, “Kappagal water tank”. Delay notes use those names, in Kannada, Telugu or English. The bus is located; children never are.
Visitor hours, ID checks, and who may approve a stranger at the gate.
Each family sets its authorised adults, with photos, and can change them any day.
Your periods, your bell times, your limits on how often anyone covers.
WHY IT GETS BETTER EVERY TERM
Each exception becomes something you can fix: a stop moved ten minutes, a gate hour changed, a cover rota made fairer. By the second term, your mornings run on what your own campus has learned.
Patterns show up in your own log, so fixes come from your routes, not guesses.
WHERE IT LEADS
When your own log points somewhere new, we show you the maths. Nothing is switched on unless you ask.
WHEN YOU NOTICE
More than 30 children with a medical note ride your buses or board.
Health enclaveTHE MATHS · AN EXAMPLE
e.g. 60 children × 4 card updates a year × 20 min ÷ 60 = 80 nurse hours a year
WHEN YOU NOTICE
More than three cover lessons a day, two weeks running.

e.g. 4 covers a day × 15 min to arrange × 200 days ÷ 60 = 200 coordinator hours a year
WHEN YOU NOTICE
The office takes 50+ family calls a day that aren’t about buses.

e.g. 1,200 families × 1 call a month × 3 min × 10 months ÷ 60 = 600 office hours a year
PupilTree is a school group in Ballari, running classrooms since 2001. Founding schools get founding terms, a direct line to the people building it, and a say in what it does next — plus an easy exit if it isn’t earning its keep.

QUESTIONS
Didn’t see yours? Ask on WhatsApp — a person replies, usually within the hour.
Ask on WhatsAppNo. The attendant’s phone is enough, and a printed boarding sheet works too. GPS units already on your buses can feed in.
Run one route free. By tomorrow afternoon you’ll know — boarding by boarding, stop by stop — and so will their families.
